That's the news according to "Scotto" on the Trojan Town message board. He says he got this information from Travs ticket manager David Kay. Not sure why this hasn't been announced yet by the Travs office. Scotto reports that all pitching will be done by the Travelers, so it makes you wonder how many innings they plan to play. Should be a good chance to go to the park for a preview if you are so inclined.
Now if we can just get that roster from Abe Flores. If you are in Springfield you basically already know your roster thanks to the updates from the farm director provided to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and if you are in NWA they have already printed a story in the paper about the roster.

Looks like NWA is fielding the exact same team as last year. That's okay, that should make it twice as fun to sweep them, again, in the playoffs.

Conger is coming.

It is strange that there has been no announcement by either Travs or Trojans. I'm beginning to wonder if I just dreamed having a conversation w/ Mr. Kay.

Best news I've heard all day. And I'm not talking about the ualr v travs game

Last year's game was underwhelming. I'll wait for opening day to burn a cigar in the park.

Just a suggestion for Abe Flores, but it might be nice if he could furnish the Travelers with a roster the Saturday before opening day so that it can run in the Sunday newspaper for maximum exposure.
That's what the Salt Lake Bees got, at least:

Also, why is there a commercial running on Comcast promoting the Travs opening day that features Bill Valentine with the titles "Executive VP" AND "Travs General Manager." Is he back? Did he fire Pete? This is beginning to sound like a Vince McMahon storyline.
